Each year, the US research and consulting firm Gartner publishes a report which sets out 10 strategic technology trends for the coming year.
David Cearley, vice president of Gartner and co-author of the report, says these are 10 trends that organizations cannot afford to ignore in their strategic planning process. Some trends have been included in the list for several years, and are such major trends, 2 of them just appear.
